Anaga: Almáciga, Playa del Roque, Playa de Benijo
I did a day trip to Anaga from Santa Cruz de Tenerife by bus. My plans were to visit the beaches and do some hiking.
Bus
As soon as I got off the bus, it was stunning.

I was told that Playa de Benijo is the best beach on Tenerife and that’s the reason why I came to specifically this place in Anaga.
Playa de Benijo
Playa de Benijo is a big beach with black volcanic sand. The water is amazing. But I think that the previous beach, Playa del Roque de las Bodegas, has a better view, but it’s smaller.
Swimming at Playa de Benijo
After enjoying the ocean, I went further North East to do a hike.

After all, I would say this is the best beach on Tenerife: Playa del Roque de las Bodegas.
